We want to dedicate some time to history, especially in these times when life moves at an ever-increasing pace. We want to remember our ancestors, those we never met, who are no less important for that. We want to share feelings, anecdotes, and curiosities that allow us to look to the past and understand many things.
We can't think of a better way to do this than to start by talking about our great-great-grandparents, Andreu Miralles, born in 1835, and María Gaspar, born in 1847.
A hardworking couple, their whole lives dedicated to the land and raising their six children.
We love having these old photos and being able to share them.
Grandpa Andreu with his traditional Catalan cap and sun-weathered skin… Who would have thought we'd have a swimming pool in Miralles?!
Grandma María, a real go-getter, without all the comforts we have today, a tireless fighter.
In short, an ordinary family adapted to the times they lived in.
A family, the Miralles family.
